Programme of Topics
A Wabi Sabi Way of Living
10.30-12.00 Tuesday 20th July (5 Euros payable on the day)
A Wabi Sabi way of life means treading lightly on our planet, in harmony with the natural world, appreciating whatever we encounter, finding beauty in surprising places. It challenges our preoccupation with material success and instead focuses on enjoying an unencumbered life, stripping things down to the bare essentials, allowing ourselves time to notice and attend to the tiny details of our everyday lives. It transcends conventional ways of looking and thinking about things, exchanging stressful high-energy attitudes to life with quiet grace. The roots of Wabi Sabi derive from the intricate rituals of the ancient Japanese tea ceremony.

Follow Your Heart
10.30 –12.00 Tuesday 10th August (5 Euros payable on the day)
The heart’s creativity and intuitive wisdom are a unique inner resource, which we can draw upon for sound guidance. Explore what it means to live a heart-directed life, to feel in tune with your True Self and thereby live a life that is authentically in keeping with who you truly are. Identify how the rational head sometimes overrules the intuitive heart, to the detriment of our mental, emotional and physical well-being. Find and connect with the wisdom that lies in our hearts and see what it has to teach us about being true to ourselves.

The Power of Now
10.30 – 12.00 Tuesday 7th September (5 Euros payable on the day)
This moment Now is the only place of first-hand experience. From second to second, it is the place where we make our decisions. Devoting our energy to the distractions of the Past and the Future, over which we have little or no control, provokes anxiety and stress. The Past is done; the Future never arrives. All we have is Now. This talk focuses on harnessing our energies to become fully present and engaged in each moment of our Here & Now experiencing. We explore how adopting this orientation of the mind can positively affect the way we feel and how we respond to situations that arise in our everyday living.
